In this post I am share you how to login on wp site backend. You will also know difference between WordPress backend, fronted, and user permissions.
So I think you already installed WordPress on your site, if not read our tutorial on installing WordPress.
WordPress Backend and Fronted
First I clear the concept of WP back and front. Backend use for editing style, function, post, links, almost everything. But you not able to view fronted. Fronted use for view and interact with post, slides, form, image, videos. It’s use for user to interact with website. User not able to edit posts.
If you logged in, you can use backend and fronted together. Note even you logged in as member you can’t edit or change theme, because of WordPress user permission functionality.
WP User Role
User permission is also called user role. Everyone can’t login on your wp powered site. At first the user have to create an account with some information like name, email, and password on your website. When account is created the user can login and have access a particular user role. Normally there are 6 predefined role which are Super Admin, Administrator, Editor, Author, Contributor and Subscriber. Every wp site have an only single Super Admin and this account can’t promote, demote, or delete. Super Admin can everything on wp. For more information about user role check official WordPress codex.
